There was a recall involving the firing pin. I think the jamming is a different problem, but if you are not experienced with this rifle, you don't want to tear into this one.

· I recently acquired a 1961 Model 100. The firing pin was the original that is subject to a recall. I called the number that has been posted on several sites and confirmed that my serial number had not had the new pin installed.

I was over at his place a little while back and he was showing me some of the firearms he had. One of which was a model 100 with a VERY bad jam! The fired shell is stuck half in the chamber and half on the bolt head, it won't come out!
